Ecosystems have a social structure, according to Dave Jacke. At Wednesday’s Speaker Series event, Jacke explores the ways that plants and animals organize and interact, and discusses how these dynamics inform similar human social structures.
How can we design systems that minimize stress and competition, and maximize cooperation, harmony, productivity, and diversity, while allowing each community member to remain true to their intrinsic nature? We humans are an ecological species, too, so let's see what food forest design might teach us about ourselves.
Seats are limited and registration is free for this Speaker Series event.
Dave Jacke is this year’s Opening Keynote Speaker at the Trees Atlanta 2019 Atlanta Canopy Conference: Food Forest Revolution. Please also view more information on registering for the Conference (Thurs., 2/14/19) and an all-day design workshop (Fri., 2/15/19).
