TreeKeeper Training 2018
TreeKeepers first began in 2008 as Trees Atlanta's first Certified Training program. The program provides practical tree education over the course of 7 consecutive Saturday sessions (excluding Labor Day weekend). Each class is taught by a subject matter expert from partner universities, tree care companies, and Trees Atlanta staff. Classes include indoor & outdoor activities, lively presentations, and engaging hands-on demonstrations. Each 3-hour session is taught by Trees Atlanta staff or community tree experts. Upon completion of the series of 7 sessions, graduates will be trained in a manner that builds skill, pride, and appreciation to continue the stewardship of the urban forest. Participants receive an eastern trees field guide, a native tree, and much more!
