Cascade Springs Nature Preserve is one of Atlanta's lesser known parks, and once the home of a spa and healing springs used for bottled water. Within this beautiful forested area we'll see champion trees, a waterfall, and the remains of a former nature resort, springhouse, and Civil War-era entrenchments from the Battle of Utoy Creek. Join Trees Atlanta for a hiking tour of Cascade Springs Nature Preserve in conjunction with the Atlanta Preservation Center's Phoenix Flies 2017, a celebration of Atlanta's historic sites.
