Sylvan Hills was established in the 1920s, with homes built by prominent developers known for their quality craftsmanship. Situated within the Atlanta city limits, and in close proximity to trolley lines, this neighborhood was favored for its rolling woodlands of tulip poplar, oak, and hickory. Join Trees Atlanta for a walking tour of the Sylvan Hills Neighborhood Arboretum in conjunction with the Atlanta Preservation Center's Phoenix Flies 2017, a celebration of Atlanta's historic sites. Many thanks to the City of Atlanta for supporting our tree walks!
