If you're alarmed by all of the trees coming down around town, this crash course is for you. The City of Atlanta has a lengthy tree ordinance that we will simplify and unpack so that YOU feel empowered to prevent needless tree loss and illegal tree removal by builders, contractors, property owners and developers. We'll go over basics of the tree laws, how to quickly recognize common violations and what you can do about it. We'll also discuss how to navigate reporting, appeals, and hearings with the Tree Conservation Commission. Come with your questions and concerns, and let's raise our voices to put the Atlanta Tree Protection Ordinance to work!

We host a very casual monthly brown bag lunch at the TreeHouse. Each month, we invite a Trees Atlanta staff or crew member, volunteer, or friend to present an interesting environmental topic for discussion. Brown bag Lunch & Learns are typically on the second Thursday of each month.
