The urban forests of America's cities are the legacy of our predecessors. In her new book, Urban Forests, acclaimed author Jill Jonnes shows how a host of passionate advocates and tree nerds shaped and ornamented the nation’s cities, from Jefferson’s day to the present.

Join Trees Atlanta, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum, and A Cappella books for a special evening presentation in the Carter Museum theater, celebrating urban trees. Q&A session and book signing with the author will follow. Urban Forests, may be pre-ordered from A Cappella Books here. Make a note at check-out if you will be attending the event.

Doors will open at 6:15pm for networking, and the program will begin promptly at 7:00pm. This program is free with registration.
