Trees Atlanta - TreeHouse
112 Krog St. Suite 7, Atlanta, GA 30307

Presenter: Kay Evanovich, City of Decatur Arborist

While balancing the ongoing care of city trees (pruning, mulching, fertilization, pest control) to maximize their lives, municipal arborists must juggle a myriad of other tree-related tasks: where the next trees will go, how will these trees affect the surrounding areas (streetscape design, parking, overhead and buried utilities, etc), and how to balance a dense urban core with tree coverage.
It's a complicated job, but an ever-important one as our cities continue to grow. Will nature be allowed to thrive in our most populated areas?

Join Kay Evanovich for this Lunch and Learn as she dives into what your local arborist does.
