Tree ID Scavenger Hunt: Candler Park

Please join Trees Atlanta and Candler Park Conservancy for a fun and free tree-focused scavenger hunt event on Sunday, October 14, 2018 in Candler Park!

You'll follow a secret path through Candler Park using clues and compasses we provide. You'll use hints and info we provide to help you identify some of the beautiful trees you encounter along the way. It should be a great way to explore this beloved 55-acre greenspace and learn a little about how to identify trees! We'll even have some light seasonal drinks and refreshments available for you when you're done.

To get started with your scavenger hunt, please check in with us in the picnic pavilions next to the main Candler Park lot at 1500 McLendon Ave NE between 10:00am - 12:00pm on the day of the event. We look forward to seeing you there!

We encourage you to register in advance so that we have a sense of headcount. All are welcome to attend, though this event most popular for families or other small groups with kids aged approximately 5-15. Please note that all kids should be accompanied by an adult.
