Pollinators for Native Trees, Walk and Talk
at Gardenhood Nursery

March 23, 2019 (Saturday)
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Gardenhood Nursery, 353 Boulevard SE Atlanta, GA 30312

This event is free with registration.

Facilitator: Sam Nash, Assistant Nursery Manager, and Halley Beagle (Nursery Manager) Garden Hood Atlanta

Butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and more! Spring is right around the corner which means pollinators are waking up to get active. This fun and engaging walk-and-talk discusses many ways in which you can make your landscape a veritable buffet for all sorts of pollinator friends. We will cover all types of plants including native trees and shrubs that will help you create a pollinator safe haven.

Some tips for joining us on this walk:

  • The trail is not stroller friendly. Supervised children are welcome (however please no dogs).
  • Bring some water and please dress appropriately for forecasted weather.
  • Parking is limited, and it gets crowded on weekends, so we encourage carpooling and arriving early. Limited parking available in Gardenhood Nursery's gravel lot, and some street side parking available.
  • Wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
