Led by Zach Lim, Naturalist and Trees Atlanta Youth Education Coordinator

Tapestry, Ormewood Park's hidden green space gem, offers prime habitat for many species of plants and animals, many of which are overlooked by the untrained eye. Join Trees Atlanta’s naturalist Zach Lim as he offers a guided, interpretative tour of Tapestry's wonderful plants, trees, and wildlife. Peer high into the tree canopy to see birds tending to their nests. Uncover the hidden world of insects under the rocks and logs below your feet with magnifying glasses and bug jars! Watch turtles swim in the lake and learn about other cold-blooded critters.  Children, please bring your adults, this is a family event!

We'll use bug jars and magnifying glasses (provided). Please wear comfortable, outdoor clothing such as hiking boots and comfortable clothes to be prepared to get close to nature.

Thank you to the following organizations whose support enables Trees Atlanta to bring you this education event.
