Have you ever considered that trees can talk to each other? Hidden from our view, intricate underground fungal networks physically connect trees and facilitate inter-tree communication. During this month's Lunch & Learn we will be viewing and discussing a video presentation by Professor Suzanne Simard, Professor of Forest Ecology at the University of British Columbia, whose research specializes in the complex tree networks under our feet.

We host a very casual monthly brown bag lunch at the TreeHouse. Each month, we invite a Trees Atlanta staff or crew member, volunteer, or friend to present an interesting environmental topic for discussion. Brown bag Lunch & Learns are typically on the second Thursday of each month.
