Trees Atlanta Lunch and Learn

July 11, 2019 (Thursday)
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Presentation

In this Lunch and Learn, Ernest Koone will explore the ways you can bring a touch of the wild to small urban gardens, terraces, and balconies using native trees and shrubs.  He will share tips not only to enhance your natural surroundings but also attract beneficial wildlife even in the heart of the city.

Ernest F. Koone III is the President of Lazy K Nursery, Inc. and Garden Delights, LLC in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Ernest has been a grower and tireless advocate of native azaleas for over 40 years. He is the largest grower of Native Azaleas in the United States and will be bringing some plants for purchase. He’ll also be doing a raffle! Proceeds will benefit the planting of a new native azaleas collection on the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum – a collaboration with Trees Atlanta and the Azalea Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society.

**This event is free with registration.**
