Natural occurrences that ecosystems face such as fires, pests, or storms can potentially alter the long term development of a forest.
Ecological resilience is often thought of as the ability for ecosystems to withstand, absorb, and recover from these external shocks.
How do natural occurrences impact a healthy growing forest? What do we do once the damage has been done? How do ecosystems bounce back?
Join Lance Gunderson for this Lunch and Learn as he talks about how a resilient ecosystem can bounce back with the help of adaptive management approaches.
Thank you to the City of Atlanta whose support enables Trees Atlanta to bring you this education event.
