Homeschool Day
Protecting Our Plants
This is a service-learning homeschool day. Get your hands dirty and protect our plants! Youth will spend time learning the importance of native plants in the meadow and engage in a restoration project.
Ages 7-11 (Upper Elementary)
Drop off, only.
Additional Notes:
Dress for the weather. We will go out rain or shine.
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Bring a lunch (and a backpack for the lunch!) We will have lunch at the Old Fourth Ward Skatepark followed by free time.
Bring a re-usable water bottle.
Bring a notebook and a writing utensil (recommended).
Doors open at 9:45 AM. Pick up starts at 1:00 PM.
