Plant Uses

Did you know that there are over 390,000 INCREDIBLE plants to discover?! From the rubber on your shoes to the chocolate you eat; plants provide it all. Learn about some of these incredible plants and the traditional, medicinal and edible uses of them. Instruction will start at the TreeHouse followed by an interactive field botany hike. 

Nut Allergy Beware: We may have an opportunity to forage for pecans

Ages 7-12 (Upper Elementary)

Drop off, only. 

Additional Notes:

Dress for the weather. We will go out rain or shine.

Bring a lunch (and a backpack for the lunch!) We will eat outside.

Bring a notebook and a writing utensil. 

Doors open at 9:45 AM. Pick up starts at 1 PM.
