Trees Atlanta Canopy Conversation

June 8, 2019 (Saturday)
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Cultured South Kombucha Taproom

This event is free with registration.

Trees play a large role in our communities. From preventing erosion at water access points to providing food and shelter, to aiding in global warming and climate change. With Atlanta being an urban heat island, coastal cities such as Savannah, GA receive the lasting effects of the environmental impacts that come as a result of low canopy coverage and lack of trees. Join us for this Canopy Conversations as we call communities to action to protect Atlanta's canopy. This presentation will be conducted by Lori Johnston and Yamasi People.
